Your first thirty days
James 1:22 · Proverbs 24:11-12
DRAFT — awaiting editorial review.
“Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves” (James 1:22). It is possible to read every page on this site, agree with every line, and do nothing; and James says that this is not a neutral outcome. It is self-deception. You now know that the unborn child is your neighbour and that he is being killed. The only question left is what you will do in the next thirty days.
“Rescue those who are being taken away to death” (Proverbs 24:11) is a command, and the verse after it closes the one exit everybody reaches for: “If you say, ‘Behold, we did not know this,’ does not he who weighs the heart perceive it?” You cannot now say you did not know. That is not meant to crush you. It is meant to move you.
So we have kept this short and concrete. Not a calling you must discover or a gift you must be sure of, but four things that any Christian in Britain can do in a month, in order, starting today. Pray, because this is God’s work before it is ours. Write to your MP, because the law must change. Write to your church, because abolition proceeds out from the Body of Christ. Find your nation, because you are not alone.
Do those four, and by the end of the month you will know what the next thing is. Start now.

Then, your part
- Today: pray
Join the prayer rhythm and pray for the unborn every day this month; the rest grows from here.
- This week: email your MP
Twenty minutes in your own words, asking for equal protection and a meeting.
- This fortnight: write to your church
Ask your elders to preach on it and adopt the Declaration; offer to help with whatever follows.
- This month: find your nation
See what is happening where you live and who is already at work there.
